Mary Louise Smith Price, 89, of Elizabethton, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday morning, October 7, 2016, at her residence following a brief illness.
She was the daughter of the late Samuel and Reva Smith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lazarus Price; brothers, Pete, Bill and Brownlowe Smith; sisters, Helen Phillips and June Crowe; and daughter-in-law, Barbara Smith.
She attended First Freewill Baptist Church.
She is survived by three sons, Jimmy Smith, Johnny (Kim) Price and Ronnie (Pearl) Price; two daughters, Karen Price and Kathy (Shaun) Gregory; three grandchildren, Melodie (Shaun) Harris, Desiree Smith and Elizabeth Conner, and two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at First Freewill Baptist Church on Sunday, Oct. 9, from 1 until 3 p.m. The funeral service with Pastor Nathan Jennings will be at 3 p.m. The graveside service will follow at Whitehead Cemetery in Gap Creek. Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
