Godfrey D. “Jim” Cable, 88, of Hampton, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2016, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital.
The funeral service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Friday, October 14, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Richard Stout and the Rev. Dean Smith officiating. Graveside services and interment will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Rittertown Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Greg Whitehead officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Complete arrangement’s will be in Friday’s paper.
