Timothy Craig “Tim” McCloud

Timothy Craig “Tim” McCloud, of Elizabethton, went to be with his Lord on Sunday, March 12, 2017, at his residence. Born July 19, 1956 in Omaha, Neb., he lived most of his life in Tennessee.
Tim was a 1974 graduate of Johnson County High School and served in the United States Air Force. He was employed at North American Rayon and was a supervisor at Inland Container. He worked as a Mill Wright in several states as well as in Mexico. At the time of his passing, he was self-employed as a Stock Equity Trader.
Tim was a genuine, kind and generous person who was always willing to lend a helping hand. He cared very deeply for his family and he loved spending time with his grandchildren. Tim was a member of Butler Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Glen “Bud” McCloud.
He is survived by his beloved Gaye Loveless of 26 years; his dear children: sons, Travis (Cassie) McCloud and Nick (Brandi) McCloud, and daughter, Kristin (Herb Camplin) McCloud; his mother, Jewel Dean Ward McCloud; the mother of his children, Teresa Fox; his brothers, Randy (Barbara) McCloud and Steve (Laura) McCloud; his sister, Judy (Eddie) Lambert; seven precious grandchildren, Sam, Sydney, Halie, Trevor, Sophie, Aurora and Madelyn; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Timothy Craig “Tim” McCloud will be conducted at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 16, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Doug Hinshaw and the Rev. Daniel Woods officiating. The Eulogy will be given by Mr. Eddie Lambert. Music will be provided by Kevin McCloud. The graveside service and interment will be at 11 a.m. Friday, March 17, in the Butler Memorial Cemetery. Active pallbearers, who are requested to assemble at the cemetery, will be Travis, Nick, Randy and Steven McCloud, Eddie Lambert, Kevin McCloud, Herb Camplin and Sam Dempsey. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Smith, Ray Loveless, Jay Loveless, Chris McCloud, Matthew McCloud and Jose Rodrigus. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Friends may call at his residence or the residence of his mother, Jewel Dean McCloud, Butler. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery at 10:50 a.m. Friday.
