Trinity Baptist
Jacob Church will preach Sunday at the 11 a.m. worship service at Trinity Baptist Church.
Greater Glory will sing at 6 p.m.
Dr. James Richardson, pastor, invites the public to attend.

Unaka Baptist
Unaka Baptist Church will host a Benefit Bean Dinner and Silent Auction Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m. The cost is $5 per person.
Live music will be performed during dinner, and a silent auction will be held.
The Rev. Stephen Greene is pastor.

First United Methodist
The message “We Each Bow On Our Own Knees” will be presented Sunday at morning worship at First United Methodist Church of Elizabethton. The message will be delivered by the pastor, the Rev. Raymond Amos, Sr.
Morning worship is at 9:55 a.m. with Sunday School at 11:20 a.m.
The Sunday evening Bible study is at 6 p.m. in the church fellowship hall as is the Wednesday evening Life Lessons.
The 4:12 Student Ministries Jr. High group (sixth and seventh graders) will meet Sunday from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. and the Senior High group (8th to 12th graders) will meet from 5:45 to 7:30 p.m. The Coolagers (k-5th grade) will meet Wednesday at 6 p.m.

First Christian
Minister Michael Klaus will begin a new sermon series Sunday at First Christian Church on The Holy Spirit. The service will begin at 9:45 a.m. and will feature Scripture reading by Judith Donley. The communion meditation will be given by Todd Maines. Deborah Knapp will have special music.
Bible School classes will be at 11 a.m.
Following morning worship and Bible School, the fall kick-off will be held in the fellowship hall, and will include church-wide family fellowship.
At the Sunday evening service, the youth and children will have a combined worship time in the fellowship hall before breaking into separate groups for class.
The Tuesday Morning Prayer Service with John Smith as leader will begin at 10 a.m. Later that day at 7 p.m. the Carter County Christian Men’s Fellowship will meet at Big Springs Christian Church.
Wednesday at 6 p.m. the Bible Study and Prayer Service will be held. Also, visitation teams will go out at that time. Minister Klaus will continue his studies from the Bible book of Colossians. Choir practice will be at 7 p.m.

CCCMF Meeting
The Carter County Christian Men’s Fellowship will meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Big Spring Church of Christ. Todd Wolfe will be the guest speaker.
After the preaching and worship service, there will be a time of fellowship.

Roan Street Free Will
The Roan Street Free Will Baptist Church will observe homecoming Sunday, Sept. 24. Former pastor Ray Stockton will preach at morning worship. Special music will be presented by Joel Crisp.
Sunday School begins at 10 a.m. with the worship service to follow. Following the morning service, dinner will be served in the fellowship hall.
There will be no evening service.
Roan Street Free Will is located at 820 N. Roan St. Everyone is welcome.

Cobbs Creek
Homecoming will be held at Cobbs Creek Baptist Church, 150 Church St., Butler, Sunday at the 11 a.m. worship service.
The Rev. Dennis Peterson will be preaching at the 11 a.m. service. A fellowship meal will be served after the service.
The church will host a block party Sept. 23 from 3 to 6 p.m. There will be inflatables, games, hotdogs, cotton candy, popcorn, sno-cones, and much more.
Everyone is invited to attend the services and activities at Cobbs Creek Baptist.

Watauga Point U-M
Watauga Point United Methodist Church will have a benefit rummage and bake sale Sept. 23 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Funds derived from the sale will go to assist with medical bills for Danny Carver, a cancer patient.
Watauga Point U-M is located at 409 Gap Creek Road.

First Presbyterian
The pastor, the Rev. Dr. Brian Wyatt, will preach Sunday at the 11 a.m. worship service at First Presbyterian Church of Elizabethton. The church is located at 119 W. F St.
An Education Hour and choir practice will be at 9:45 a.m.
Other events of the week include Meditation at 7 p.m. Wednesday; Thursday with Jesus Reading Group at 10 a.m.; and yoga Friday at 10 a.m.
