Zion Baptist
The Sampsons from Hammond, Ind., will present special singing at the 6 p.m. worship service Sunday at Zion Baptist Church.
The church is located at 1982 Gap Creek Road.

Caldwell Springs
Caldwell Springs Baptist Church will observe homecoming Sunday at the 11 a.m. worship service.
Sacred Harmony will be featured at the morning service.
Everyone is invited to attend and participate in the potluck dinner following the service.
Upper Gap Creek
Jason Thompson will be guest speaker Sunday at the 11 a.m. service at Upper Gap Creek Free Will Baptist Church.
Sunday School begins at 10 a.m.

Borderview Christian
Borderview Christian Church will host its Fifth Annual Night of Praise Sunday at the 6 p.m. service.
The music-filled worship service will explore the many vocal and instrumental talents of the congregation.
The public is invited to the special service.

Unaka Baptist
Unaka Baptist Church will have an evening of fun, food and fellowship for the youth following the big Unaka football game this evening. Events will be held in the fellowship hall beginning at 9 p.m. continuing until midnight.
The monthly brotherhood breakfast will be held Saturday from 7 to 10 a.m. All are welcome.

Morgan Branch
Homecoming will be celebrated Sunday at Morgan Branch Free Will Baptist Church, Roan Mountain.
The Brown Family from Jonesborough will present special music at the 11 a.m. worship service. Lunch will be served following the service.

Moore’s Chapel
Sacred Journey Quartet will present special singing Saturday at 6 p.m. at Moore’s
Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, Stoney Creek.
The singing will be held outdoors, and will be a benefit for Grace Campbell. Also singing will be Southern Harmony. Those attending are invited to bring a lawn chair.
The group will be singing Sunday at the 10:45 a.m. service at Marbleton Free Will Baptist Church in Unicoi.
First United Methodist
“Thank God That Grace Isn’t Fair” is the theme of the Sunday morning worship sermon at First United Methodist Church of Elizabethton. The sermon is based on Matt. 20: 1-16.
The worship service begins at 9:55 a.m. followed by Sunday School at 11:20 a.m.
The Sunday evening Bible study is at 6 p.m. in the fellowship hall as is the Wednesday evening Life Lessons.
The 4:12 Student Ministries, both Junior High and Senior High, will meet Sunday from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the 4:12 Ministries House. The Coolagers will meet Wednesday at 6 p.m. in the Coolager Hut.

Watauga Point U-M
There will be a benefit rummage sale Saturday at Watauga Point United Methodist Church from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Funds derived from the sale will go to assist with medical bills for Danny Carver, who is suffering from cancer.
The church is located at 409 Gap Creek Road.
Cobbs Creek
A block party will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday at Cobbs Creek Baptist Church, 150 Church St., Butler.
The event, which is for the entire community, will feature inflatables, games, hotdogs, cotton candy, popcorn, sno-cones, and lots of faith, fun and fellowship.
Worship service times at Cobbs Creek are Sunday at 11 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. and Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.
Cedar Grove
Gospel soloist Russell Bennett will present special singing Sunday at 6 p.m. at Cedar Grove Baptist Church, 353 Cedar Grove Road, Johnson City.
Bennett of Kingsport presents a program which features a wide range of gospel selections.
Walker Robinson, pastor, invites the public to attend.
Little Doe
Homecoming will be celebrated Sunday at Little Doe Free Will Baptist Church with George Hughes, missionary to Mexico, speaking at the 11 a.m. service.
Sunday School is at 10 a.m.
Following the morning service, lunch will be served in the fellowship hall.
There will be no evening service.
Everyone is invited.
