On Monday, October 23, 2017, Benny Lee Laws, son, brother and nephew, passed away at the age of 49 years in San Mateo, Calif. Benny will be lovingly remembered by his family and friends as kind, intelligent, witty, loving and humorous.
Born in Washington D.C., the second child of Benny Lee Laws and Sandra Peggy Eggers, he spent much of his childhood in Tennessee attending both Little Milligan Elementary and Hampton High School. He spent much of his late teens and adult life in California. He attended Galileo High School and San Francisco State University. He worked as both a legal courier and as a legal assistant in San Francisco, Calif.
His memory is treasured by many including his sister, Krista Laws, and another sister; his cousins, Sharon, Sheila, Sonya and Travis; his aunts, Betty, Gayle, Jill and Mary Jo; his uncles, Bud, Joel and Rick; and many more friends and family.
Benny was preceded in death by his father, Benny Lee Laws, and his mother, Sandra Peggy Eggers.
