To the editor:
The Bonnie Kate Restoration Board would like to express sincere gratitude to all the people that helped to make the 1940’s Radio Dinner Theater at the Bonnie Kate a great success. It truly was a community effort.
Not only did we have great music by the Tri-Cities Jazz ensemble led by Eddie Dalton and good entertainment by The Hopwood players and vocalists, but we also had a great volunteer staff to make it run smoothly. Many of the local businesses helped to underwrite our expenses by buying ads in our programs and there were more than 30 individuals and businesses that donated to the silent auction.
As with any event, the effort is in vain without good audience support. We were pleased to perform to a full house at the Bonnie Kate. Thank you for showing that the Bonnie Kate Theater events and building restoration is worth being a part of.
Sincerely,
The Bonnie Kate Restoration Board
