Night of Prayer planned Tuesday at Hunter U-M Church

A special evening of prayer will be held Tuesday, Nov. 14, at Hunter United Methodist Church.

The service will begin at 6:30 p.m. and in addition to prayer will feature scripture reading and singing.
A spokesman for the church said the night of prayer is in response to Adoration 2017 at ETSU held this past October. “Adoration 2017’s aim was to mobilize churches against the prescription drug abuse epidemic, and our church was one of many in the area that has joined that effort,” the spokesperson said.
“The theme of the event is Jesus Christ. Who He is, what He did, and what He will do,” said the church spokesperson.
Hunter United Methodist is located on Highway 91 at Hunter. The pastor is LeAnne Crandall.
Everyone is invited to attend.
