Troy Joe Wilson was born November 16, 1945 in Elizabethton, Tennessee to Gilbert and Vera (Pierce) Wilson. He passed away December 6, 2017 at Chantilly, Virginia at the age of 72 years.

Troy served in the United States Air Force; attended the Caldwell Springs Baptist Church as a young man and enjoyed being with his family, friends and neighbors.

He is survived by a foster son, Carlos Mencias and granddaughter, Jenny; brother, Lee Wilson; uncle, Aaron Pierce; aunt, Cynthia Ensor; sister in law, Beverly Wilson; brother in law, Ken Gressens; nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Interment will be in the Happy Valley Cemetery at a later date.
