Sims Hill
The adult choir of Sims Hill Christian Church will present the musical “O Come Let Us Adore Him” Sunday at the 11 a.m. worship service.
The musical is directed by Melissa Neeley, who will also sing the solo “The Manger Song.”
Following the service, treat bags will be given.
Bret Jones is minister.

First Free Will
The adult choir of First Free Will Baptist Church will present a Christmas cantata Sunday at the morning worship service at 11 a.m.
Grady Holder is choir director.
There will be no evening service Sunday.
The Rev. Nathan Jennings is pastor.

Memorial Presbyterian
A Christmas Eve Candlelight Service will be held Sunday at 6 p.m. at Memorial Presbyterian Church.
The service is one of praise and thanksgiving to God for his son, Jesus Christ.
A special moment during the service is when the lights are turned off and the congregation sings “Silent Night, Holy Night” in the glow of the candles each person holds.
The Christmas Eve Candlelight Service is a tradition at the church.
Everyone is invited.

Calvary Baptist
A Christmas Eve service will be held at 9 p.m. Sunday at Calvary Baptist Church, Elizabethton.
The Rev. Jacob Guinn is pastor.

First Baptist
A Christmas Eve service will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church, Elizabethton.
Morning worship will be at 10:45 a.m. There will be no Sunday School or evening service Sunday.
The Rev. Todd Hallman is pastor.

Oak Street Baptist
A Christmas Eve Service will be held at Oak Street Baptist Church at 10:30 a.m. Sunday.
There will be no Sunday School or evening service Sunday.
The church office will be closed Dec. 21-26.

First Christian
Morning worship Sunday at First Christian Church of Elizabethton will begin at 9:45 a.m. with the message by the minister, Michael Klaus. The communion meditation will be given by John H. Smith. Scripture will be by David Shields and special music will be presented by Melanie Klaus.
Bible school classes are at 11 a.m.
A Christmas Eve Candlelight communion service will be held at 11:30 p.m. Sunday.
There will be no 6 p.m. service Sunday. Also, the Tuesday morning prayer group will not meet next week.
The Wednesday evening service will be at 6 p.m. in the fellowship hall. There will be no KFC class this week.
Church offices will be closed until Thursday, Dec. 28.

Bethlehem Lutheran
“Come Home” is the sermon theme for morning worship Sunday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Johnson City. The sermon text is II Sam. 7: 1-11, 16.
Morning worship is at 8 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. Communion will be served at both services.
Christmas Eve Vespers will be at 7 p.m. The sermon theme is “The Brightest Light” based on Isa. 9: 2-7. At the 11 p.m. service, “Echoing Joy” is the sermon theme based on Matt. 1: 18-25.
A Christmas Day service will be held Monday at 10:45 a.m. and the sermon theme is “We Have Seen His Glory.”
Interpreted services for the deaf are available the second and fourth Sundays at the 10:45 a.m. service.
