Roan Street Free Will
Roan Street Free Will Baptist Church will host a special song service Sunday at the 11 a.m. worship service. Featured will be the group, The Savior’s Call.
The church is located at 820 N. Roan St. The pastor is the Rev. Tim Gouge.

Bethlehem Lutheran
“Here Am I” is the sermon theme for morning worship Sunday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 201 E. Watauga Ave., Johnson City. The sermon text is Gen. 22: 1-8.
Morning worship is at 8 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. Communion is served at both services.
Interpreted services for the deaf are available the second and fourth Sundays at the 10:45 a.m. service.
Lenten Vespers will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday. The sermon theme is “Return to the Lord Who Has Redeemed You” based on Gal. 3: 10-14.

CCCMF Meeting
The Carter County Christian Men’s Fellowship will meet Tuesday, Feb. 20, at 7 p.m. at Range Community Christian Church.
The guest speaker will be Leon Dutka. There will be a time of fellowship following the preaching and worship service.

First Presbyterian
The Rev. Dr. Bryan Wyatt, pastor, will preach at morning worship Sunday at First Presbyterian Church, Elizabethton. Scripture for the morning service is Luke 4: 1-13, dealing with Jesus’s temptation by Satan in the wilderness. Morning worship is at 11 a.m.
An Education Hour will precede the worship service at 9:45 a.m.
Other opportunities of the week include Meditation at 7 p.m. Wednesday; Thursdays with Jesus Reading Group at 10:30 a.m. Thursday. The group is reading and discussing “Moral Combat” by R. Marie Griffith.
Yoga is Friday from 10 a.m. to noon.
First Presbyterian is located at 119 W. F St.

First United Methodist
Sunday is the first Sunday in Lent, and for the morning worship service at First United Methodist Church, Elizabethton, the pastor, the Rev. Raymond W. Amos Sr., will present the message “Mature Christianity.”
The service begins at 9:55 a.m. followed by Sunday School at 11:20 a.m.
The Junior High 4:12 Student Ministries will meet Sunday from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. and the Senior High Ministries will meet from 5:45 to 7:30 p.m. Both will meet in the 4:12 Ministries House. The Coolagers will meet Wednesday at 6 p.m.
The Wednesday evening Life Lessons Bible Study will be held at 6 p.m. in the fellowship hall.

First Christian
John Smith will preach at the Sunday morning worship service Feb. 18 at First Christian Church, Elizabethton. The service will begin at 9:45 a.m.
Orris Densford will give the communion meditation and Judy Donley will read scripture. Caitlyn Sochalski will have special music.
Bible School classes will meet at 11 a.m.
The evening service will be at 6 p.m. with a singspiration. Classes will be held for the children and youth.
The church offices will be closed Monday, Feb. 19, for President’s Day.
Also Monday at 6:30 p.m., the Ladies Bible Study will be held in the Fidelis Classroom.
The Tuesday morning prayer service will be at 10 a.m. in the sanctuary.
Wednesday evening Bible study and prayer service will be at 6 p.m.

Baptist Music School
The closing program of the Watauga Baptist Association Music School will be held this evening at 7 p.m.
The music school will present “Redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb” arranged by Russell Maulding and conducted by Scott Shepherd of the Tennessee Baptist Mission Board.
The program will be held at Grace Baptist Church, 1114 Broad St. The public is invited to attend.
