Jimmy Dale Moffett, 52, of Elizabethton, passed away Saturday, June 2, 2018, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital.
A native of Buladean, N.C., he was a son of the late Jess Moffett and Bonnie Francis Moffett Hughes. He had lived most of his life in Carter County.
Jimmy was an electrician. He served in the United States Army.
Survivors include his wife, Tresha Olsen Moffett; two step-children, Bryce and Tyler Olsen; a step-granddaughter, Isabella Olsen; a sister, Phyllis Hornick and husband Charles, and a special nephew, Patrick, along with several other nieces and nephews; a brother, Larry Shuffler; and his step-father, Reed (RH) Hughes.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 6, with a memorial service to follow at 7 p.m., with a prayer by a special friend, Floyd Odom.
