James McArthur Shank, 57, of Johnson City, passed away Thursday, August 2, 2018.
A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late James Irvin and Lois Faye Wilson Shank.
Mr. Shank was a tree trimmer. He was a member of the Johnson City Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Survivors include two brothers, Robert Shank and Terry Shank; one nephew, Robert Paul Shank Jr.; one great-niece, Sylvia Shyne Nicole Shank; and two aunts, Margaret Jones and Marie Parlier.
It was his wish to be cremated and no services are planned.
Memorial Funeral Chapel is serving the Shank family.
