Patti A. Eggers, 51, of Elizabethton, Tenn., passed away Sunday, October 7, 2018, at her residence. A native of Elizabethton, she was the daughter of Kenneth Wayne Oliver, Elizabethton, and the late Connie Earlene Rasnick Oliver.
Patti was a 1985 graduate of Elizabethton High School. She worked as a patient service representative at State of Franklin OB/GYN Healthcare Specialists in Johnson City. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.
Those left to cherish her memory in addition to her father include a son, Cody Eggers and wife Kayla, Elizabethton; a daughter, McKenzie Caldwell and husband Todd, Elizabethton; three grandchildren, Brycen Eggers, Cainan Eggers and Reid Caldwell, all of Elizabethton, and her first granddaughter, Callie Anne Caldwell, to be born in January; a brother, Terry L. Oliver, Elizabethton; a niece, Hannah Oliver, Elizabethton; four special friends, Judy Fletcher and Teresa Dugger, both of Elizabethton, Leslie Webb, Johnson City, and Jeff Berry, Ladys Island, S.C., and her work family at State of Franklin OB/GYN Healthcare Specialists.
A service to honor the life of Patti A. Eggers will be conducted at 7 p.m. Wednesday, October 10, at Fairview Baptist Church with Rev. David Ward and Rev. Doug Rasnick officiating. Music will be under the direction of Shirlene Metcalf and Barbara Long, soloists. The family will receive friends at the church from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, prior to the service. Private graveside services and interment will be held in the Rasnick Family Cemetery with Dr. Kenneth Jordan officiating. Active pallbearers will be Cody Eggers, Todd Caldwell, Andrew Long, Billy Clawson, Brian Clawson and Jeff Berry. Honorary pallbearers will be Brycen Eggers and the physicians and staff at State of Franklin OB/GYN Healthcare Specialists. Those who prefer memorials in lieu of flowers may make donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memorial and Honor Program, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942 or to the family to help with final expenses.
