Joseph Abel Heaton, 33, of Elizabethton, passed away on Thursday, October 4, 2018.
A native of Carter County, he was the son of the late David Heaton and Joyce Buckles.
Joseph was loved by all of his family and friends. He worked as a carpenter and welder. He loved the ocean, fishing, hunting, being outdoors and using survivalist skills, and spending time with his sons.
Those left to cherish Joseph’s memory include his wife, Betsy Heaton; sons, Rylan and Joseph Heaton; aunts, Connie Heaton, Sue Moss, Angel Hyman and Candy Krasula; uncle, Chuckie Buckles; and many special cousins and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
