Teresa Ann Street Stevens

Teresa Ann Street Stevens, 55 years old, Hampton, passed away unexpectedly in her home on December 8, 2018. She lived at 115 Streets Lane, Hampton, Tenn., with her partner, Raymond Stevens, and son, Josh Stevens. She was born in Wrightsville, Pa., and was the daughter of Billy Joe and Ruby Street.
She left behind her partner, whom she loved and cared for, Raymond Virgil Stevens; son, Joshua Raymond Stevens and daughter-in-law, Kayla Buchanan of Hampton and Elizabethton; daughter, Kayla Brook Stevens, and son-in-law, Dustin Scarlett of Erwin, Tenn.; also four granddaughters, that she loved chasing around the yard and playing in the creek with, as well as they loved their “Crazy” Nana, Taylor, Skyler, Kiley and Bella. Her four siblings she would do anything for, Randal and Courtney Street, nieces and nephews, Lillian, Savanna, Jenna and Jamie Street of Johnson City, Billy and Missy Street, niece, Dana Street of Hampton, Teddy and Brenda Hoilman, nephews, Joey Perkins and Brandon Thompson of North Carolina. She has two other sons she called hers, Jason and Ray Lambert of Poga, Tenn. Also, a sister-in-law she was close with and loved, Jessica Street and Vickie Stevens Street, brother-in-law, Terry Stevens of Johnson City and sister-in-law, Denise Dyer of Roan Mountain. As well as lots of friends that were special to her. She never knew a stranger. She loved to talk and was always helping somebody out. She never would turn anybody away. She enjoyed going to the flea market, yard sales and thrift stores. Her jewelry and clothes made her happy. Mom loved her smokes and coffee all day!!! She was a fighter and never gave up.
Friends and family are welcome to stop by her home (115 Streets Lane) to pay their respects to the family. Following cremation, her remains will be buried at Streets Cemetery in Roan Mountain, Tenn.
We (Raymond, Josh and Kayla) ask that instead of flowers or anything of that nature, donations would be appreciated towards the balance of the funeral cost and can be personally taken to the funeral home from the donor and applied to the account balance.
We want to thank everyone who was a part of her life and made her smile!! She was one of a kind and will forever be remembered! We love you Mom & Nana! You are home now…..peaceful and free!
