Unaka Baptist
The Brotherhood at Unaka Baptist Church will have a country-style breakfast Saturday from 7 to 10 a.m.
The menu will include biscuits, gravy, eggs, two kinds of sausages, bacon and hash brown potatoes. Other items are available on request.
The cost is $7.
Everyone is invited to attend and enjoy both the food and fellowship.
Gospel singings
Brian Burchfield will be singing Saturday at 6 p.m. at Albright United Methodist Church, 6626 Old Stage Road, in Chuckey.
He will be singing Sunday at the 10 a.m. worship service at Woods Memorial Free Will Baptist Church, 7095 Gap Greek Road, Bulls Gap, and Sunday at 6 p.m. at Amis Chapel Road, Surgoinsville.
Everyone is invited to attend these singings.
Poplar Grove
Special music will be presented Sunday at the 11 a.m. worship service at Poplar Grove Baptist Church by Greater Glory.
Following the morning service, the youth will host a luncheon of soup, sandwiches, dessert and drink for a donation.
Poplar Grove Baptist is located on Highway 91, Stoney Creek. The Rev. Eric Wright is pastor.
Riverview Baptist
Recovery Soldiers will be at Riverview Baptist Church Sunday at the 10:45 a.m. worship service.
Everyone is invited.
The pastor is the Rev. Mark Grubb.
New Liberty
Blakely Rosalonia Mick, infant daughter of Ryan and Alicia Mick, will be dedicated to the Lord Sunday during the 11 a.m. worship service at New Liberty Free Will Baptist Church with Pastor Rev. Nick Colbaugh conducting the dedication service.
All family and friends are invited to attend this special service.
The church is located on 113 Peters Hollow Road near the Stoney Creek Volunteer Fire Department.
First Christian
Minister Michael Klaus will continue his sermon series “Questions God Asks” at the morning worship service Sunday at First Christian Church, Elizabethton. The service will begin at 9:45 a.m.
Orris Densford will have the communion meditation and Mitch Broyles will read scripture. Dave and Cara Hutton will share special music.
The evening service will begin at 6 p.m. with Leslie Brockley as worship leader.
Bible study will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday.

First Presbyterian
The pastor, Dr. Brian Wyatt, will preach Sunday at the 11 a.m. worship service at First Presbyterian Church, Elizabethton. The sermon is titled “Being A Beatitude” based on Matt. 5: 1-20.
An Education Hour for all ages will be at 9:45 a.m.
Other opportunities of the week include Meditation at 7 p.m. Wednesday; the Thursdays with Jesus Reading Group from 10:30 a.m. to noon Thursday; Exercise Class Tuesday and Thursday from 5:15 to 6:15 p.m.; and yoga from 10 a.m. to noon Friday.

First United Methodist
Everyone is invited to the Lord’s Table Sunday at First United Methodist Church, Elizabethton. The service will begin at 9:55 a.m. with the pastor, the Rev. Ray Amos, presenting the message, “The Unending Last Bite of Bread,” based on I Kings 17: 10-16.
Sunday School will begin at 11:20 a.m.
The 4:12 Junior High Student Ministries will meet Sunday from 4:12 to 5:25 p.m. and the Senior High group will meet from 5:30 to 7:15 p.m. The Coolagers will meet Wednesday at 6 p.m.
Wednesday Night Life Lessons will be held at 6 p.m. in the fellowship hall.
