First Christian
Minister Michael Klaus will preach at the 9:45 a.m. worship service Sunday at First Christian Church, Elizabethton. He will begin the sermon series RESCUE, How Christ Rescued Us.
David Mills will lead worship, and Jonathan Baker will have the communion meditation. Bea Streeter will read the morning scripture and special music will be provided by a men’s quartet.
The evening service will begin at 6 p.m.
Bible study will be held Wednesday at 6 p.m., with choir practice to follow.

First United Methodist
“Please Lord, Just A Little Longer” is the sermon theme for the Sunday morning service March 24 at First United Methodist Church, Elizabethton. The sermon is based on scripture from Luke 13: 1-39.
The service begins at 9:55 a.m. with Sunday School at 11:20 a.m.
The 4:12 Junior High Student Ministries will meet Sunday from 4:12 to 5:25 p.m. and Senior High Ministries from 5:30 to 7:15 p.m. Sunday. The Coolagers will meet Wednesday at 6 p.m.
Life Lessons will be taught at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the church fellowship hall.

Roan Street
The Roan Street Free Will Baptist Church will have a benefit dinner Saturday, April 6, from 4 to 6 p.m. A song service will follow at 7 p.m.
The dinner will consist of a choice of soup beans or corn dogs, coleslaw, potatoes, mac-n-cheese, cornbread, dessert and drink. The price is $4 for children, five to 11; and $6 for children 12 and up and adults. To go orders will be available.
The song service will feature special singing by Joel Crisp, Bobby Woods Jr. and Wayne Lyons Sr.

Cove Creek
The Edwards Family of Burnsville, N.C., will present special singing Sunday at the 11 a.m. service at Cove Creek Community Church.

The pastor, Dr. Brian Wyatt, will preach Sunday at the 11 a.m. worship service at First Presbyterian Church, Elizabethton. His sermon will be based on Matt. 1: 18; Luke 1: 26-31: and Isa. 7: 14.
An Education Hour will be held at 9:45 a.m.
Other opportunities of the week include Meditation at 7 p.m. Wednesday; the Thursdays with Jesus Reading Group from 10:30 a.m. to noon Thursday; Exercise Class Tuesday and Thursday from 5:15 to 6:15 p.m.; and yoga, Friday from 10 a.m. to noon.

Willow Springs
Willow Springs Baptist Church will host a 70th anniversary celebration Sunday, March 31, beginning at the 10:30 a.m. service. The Rev. Jack Roddy, Director of the Watauga Association of Baptists, will preach.
A fellowship meal will follow the service.
All members, former members and pastors are invited.
There will be no evening service.
