Brenda Faye Williams

Brenda Faye Williams, 67, of Elizabethton, went to be with her Lord on Friday, May 3, 2019, at Hermitage Nursing Home.
A native of Carter County, she was the daughter of the late Roy H. “Moose” and Carrie Mae Berry Williams. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Williams; two brothers, Big Tommy Williams and Ray Williams; and a sister-in-law, Kay Williams.
Brenda was a graduate of Unaka High School and a member of Borderview Christian Church where she sang in the choir for several years. She was a retired daycare teacher.
Brenda was an avid UT Vols Fan.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Peggy W. Campbell and husband Michael E. Campbell, and three grandsons, Landon Scott Jones, Andrew Stanley and Jordan McKamey. She is also survived by two sisters, Ann Wright of Florida and Claudette Henson of Elizabethton; one brother, Larry Williams of Hampton and a sister-in-law, Barbara Williams of California; two brothers-in-law, David Henson and Donald Wright; an honorary sister, Margaret Jones; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, May 6, at Borderview Christian Church with Mr. Scott Fisher, minister, officiating. Mr. Scott Reynolds will provide the music. The family would like to thank the staff of Hermitage Nursing Home, especially her niece and great-niece, Joni and Kimberly Day, for the tender care they provided. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Brenda to the Choir of Borderview Christian Church, 1338 Bristol Highway, Elizabethton, TN 37643.
