Doris Lovelace

Doris Lovelace, 82, of Elizabethton, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 10, 2019, from her residence. Doris was born in Elizabethton to the late Samuel Jackson Bradshaw and Gladys Marie Ball Bradshaw. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Howard Bradshaw, and a sister, Barbara Bradshaw.
Doris retired as an office manager after 45 years of service at the Siam Utility District. She had attended Beck Mountain Baptist Church for over 25 years and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sewing and sharing her faith.
Those left to cherish her memory include a son, William Lovelace and wife Michelle of Elizabethton; her daughter, Anna Lingerfelt of Elizabethton; a sister, Linda Bradshaw Williams of Elizabethton; a brother, Rev. Nick Bradshaw and wife Vickie of Elizabethton; four grandchildren, Benjamin Broyles, Jasmine Bowman, Jordan Lovelace and Mathew Henegar; seven great-grandchildren, Thomas Bumgarner, Alex Bowman, Landon Bowman, Isabella Broyles, Colton Lovelace, Adelyn Lovelace and Liam Henegar; and one great-grandchild that is due in September, Raelynn Henegar. Several nieces and nephews also survive, as well as her special friend, Betty Irick.
A service to honor and celebrate the life of Doris Lovelace will be conducted at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 13, at Beck Mountain Baptist Church with Rev. Nick Bradshaw and Rev. Ronnie Campbell officiating. Music will be provided by Mr. Bill Anderson, pianist. Private disposition will be held at a later date. Honorary pallbearers will be Royce Gentry, John Bradshaw, Rob Bradshaw, Mark Garrison, Denny Lyons, Daniel Carrico and Bill Anderson. Those who prefer memorials in lieu of flowers may make donations to Beck Mountain Baptist Church, 2797 Siam Road, Elizabethton, TN 37643.
