Sherry Elaine McAmis, 59, of Elizabethton, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2019, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital following an extended illness.
A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late John and Beulah Hamilton McAmis.
Sherry was formerly employed at the Senior Citizens Center. She was a member of Caldwell Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Mike White, Johnson City; four grandchildren, Danielle Roark, Trevor Johnson, Nathan Johnson and Landon Tipton; one sister, Connie Casteel; three brothers, Danny McAmis, Dennis McAmis and Chris Caldwell; and three nieces and one nephew.
No services are planned.
