To the Editor:
President Trump has been feuding with four Democratic congresswomen called the “Squad.” The women are Reps Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York, Rashida Tlaib of Michigan, IIhan Omar of Minnesota, and Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts. The feud begin July 14 when Trump tweeted the women should “go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came.” However Omar, who immigrated from Somalia, is the only one of the four who was born outside the U.S. Trump was certainly correct about Somalia. Journalist Hodan Nalayeh traveled to Somalia to prove it was a great place but she and her husband were murdered by Muslim terrorists in their hotel last week. Trump was correct Omar was “lucky to be here.” Democrats and the media wrongly denounced Trump’s remarks as racist. Trump wasn’t asking the four to leave because of their race but because of their policies. The four women are the most radical, extreme hardcore Socialists you will ever meet and all advocate for open borders, illegal immigrants and Palestinians. Three of them are anti-Israel, anti-semitic and anti-America. Trump said, “If you’re not happy here, then you can leave. As far as I’m concerned, if you hate our country, if you’re not happy here, you can leave. And that’s what I say all the time.” Trump has said this to Hollywood and all races and all people since he has been in office.
A Suffolk 2016 poll found that 76 percent of Democrats consider Donald Trump a racist. While I don’t support everything Trump says or does there’s no proof that he is a racist. The Clintons and Obama and most politicians have been lawyers which are trained smooth talkers. We don’t always like the way Trump crafts his sentences and some of the words he chooses. Trump can be rude and crude and I make no excuses for the unpresidential and insensitive tweets of Trump. Except they are far better than the actions of Democrats (supporting abortion, supporting LGBTQ etc.)
When Trump was a Democrat and gave money to Democrats no one called Trump a racist. Trump’s son-law is a Jew. Senator Rand Paul said Trump financed eye surgeries for poor black Haitians, while some say the Clinton Foundation cheated poor Haitians out of donations. Alveda King, niece of Martin Luther King Jr., said “President Trump is not a racist.” She has called Trump “compassionate” and a “brilliant man.” Housing and Urban Development Secretary Dr. Ben Carson said President Trump’s tweets aren’t racist. Dr. Ben Carson, who is black, said Trump’s policies are proof he isn’t a racist.
While the liberals (left) wrongly call Trump a evil racist he has worked to stop America’s greatest evil and greatest violence in our history which is abortion. The Democrats, liberal major media and blacks leaders are the biggest supporters of abortion which is racism and slavery of the unborn. Abortion has killed over 55 million of which over 15 million were blacks. If the liberals and Black Lives Matter people really cared about black lives they would be against abortion which kills a much higher percent of blacks than any other race. Self-worship underlies many aspects of pro-choice thought.
Black NFL football player Ben Watson was asked by CNN to speak on Ferguson racial problems. Watson said, “Ultimately the problem is not a skin problem, it is a sin problem.” When Watson says, “Jesus died for our sins,” his mic went dead. Watson is correct. The solution to racism and evil is Jesus who changes people internally, externally and eternally. Call 1-888-need-him. Jesus loves everyone and all lives matter to Jesus. As the late Christian Pastor Martin Luther King Jr. said, “We must learn to live together as brothers or perish together as fools!”
Christians have done the most to end racism. Christians do most adoptions, including cross race adoptions. In one church in Elizabethton one white family adopted three black children. Another white Christian family in Elizabethton adopted five Hispanic children. In Jesus there is neither Jew nor Greek, black nor white. We are all one but we don’t lose our identity in Jesus, we find it. Christianity is international and focuses on grace not race!
