Johnson City’s own Semeta Taylor Johnson will be in concert at The Church Of Jesus, 809 W. Main Street, Johnson City, Thursday, Aug. 15, at 7 p.m. She is the daughter of Peggie Street and the grand daughter of Brown and Viola Street. Sami’s long music career as a vocalist has taken her all over the world. For the last 35 years she has been part of the Branson, MO music show community where she sang with The Presley Country Jubilee. She now sings with the Blackwood Singers. She has a powerful testimony of the faithfulness of the God in life, from tragedy to triumph. The public is invited.
