Some thoughts on slavery and human trafficking prevention

To the Editor:
Thanks to the Elizabethton Star for bringing attention to human trafficking. Also, thanks to Red Sand Project, County Mayor Barnett and Bill Lee for bringing needed attention to the evil human trafficking. People wrongly think slavery ended in America. Sadly, the institution of slavery is still alive; it just goes by a new name: human trafficking. Every day, millions of victims, mostly women(one-third children) are bought and sold around the world. Visit www.acf.hhs.gov/trafficking or www.endslaverytn.org.
Dr. Phil exposed a rich and powerful pedophile ring on national T.V. The woman on his show claimed to have been abused all her life and was trafficked to high-level politicians in America. What she described sounded satanic. President Trump promised to drain the swamp of pedophiles and end sex slavery and human trafficking epidemic in America. This could explain why some high-level politicians, government officials and media hate Trump because they fear going to jail for abusing children and other crimes. President Trump signed an anti-human trafficking bill into law. The Frederick Douglass Act, Trump signed authorizes 430 million dollars to combat human trafficking. Trump’s Justice Departments had successful prosecution of over 550 traffickers in 2017 and over 1500 arrest in 2018. Also, according to www.christianheadlines.com the FBI rescued over 100 sex trafficking victims across the United States last month in the initiative called “Operation Independence Day” recovering juveniles and arrested 67 suspected traffickers.
It’s estimated, there are 94 children each month who are trafficked in Tennessee. Abuse of children causes revulsion if anyone has love for God, His Word the Bible or the children who are being victimized. Pray God will pour out His justice and pray for mercy and healing for the victims of abuse. Jesus said, “It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and be thrown into the sea, than he should offend one of these little ones.” If you suspect child abuse or trafficking report it because Jesus said, “as you did to the least of these, you did it to me.”
Billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein was awaiting trial on charges of conspiracy and sex trafficking and was bringing needed attention to trafficking was found dead of an apparent suicide. Epstein was arrested in 2008 but was given a very short light sentence because he was “filthy” rich.
Victims are upset because they didn’t see justice. Epstein didn’t escape justice because God says, vengeance is mine, I will repay! One pastor said, Epstein right now, at this very moment is burning in the flames of Hell. Epstein is not burning because he was a criminal; he is not burning because he was a pedophile. Epstein is burning in Hell right now because he had no Savior to pay for his many sins, so he is right now paying for them himself forever! Friend don’t join him, ask Jesus to forgive you and save you right now because you aren’t guaranteed tomorrow.
