To the Editor:

So Elizabethton wants to put in a water park……how about a bus/shuttle service for its citizens?

We can no longer utilize NetTrans unless we book trips a month ahead. This is due to zoning changes and funding. That service gave me back my freedom and made me feel like a productive member of this community. Not anymore, well, unless I call and book transportation months from now.

Instead of dumping money into some water park (or whatever), how about thinking about the people that live here rather than tourist dollars.

I both called and e-mailed the city manager, and he has not contacted me.
