Lovie Oletha Hall

Lovie Oletha Hall, 89, of Elizabethton, passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2019, at Johnson City Medical Center. She was born on February 16, 1930, in Chickasha, Okla., and was the daughter of the late Willie Monroe Robinson and Lovell Robinson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Harry Eugene Rydbeck; her second husband, Arnold Hall; four brothers; and one sister.
Lovie attended the Church of Christ and was a proud member of the Red Hat Society. She loved to work on crafts, crocheting, but most importantly loved spending time with her family.
Those left to cherish her memory include four children, Bryan Rydbeck, Marion Hall and Alan Rydbeck, all of Elizabethton, and Evelyn Garland and husband Steve of Johnson City; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A service to honor and celebrate the life of Lovie Oletha Hall will be conducted at 7 p.m. Thursday, October 3, in the Chapel of Peace of Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton, with Mr. Wesley Simons officiating. Congregational singing will be under the direction of Mr. Bobby Penland. The family will receive friends in the chapel from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, prior to the service.
