The Historic Eureka Inn in Jonesborough presents, “The Haunting of Horace Crawford,” an outrageous Mystery Dinner, beginning Oct.
18.
The event will continue through Nov. 9 with “The Haunting of Horace Crawford,” written by Derek Smithpeters and Katelyn Yarbrough.
The parlor inside the Historic Eureka Inn will be converted into an intimate theatrical experience. The 222-year-old historic inn is the perfect place to escape for a few hours, have a fine meal, and solve a mystery! The inn, which sets atop a natural spring well, creates a certain energy that can’t be duplicated. The fluidity of the past and present mingle together and somehow make it easier to summon the spirits of long ago… or last year. At Eureka’s Mystery Parlor guests are invited to enjoy an evening of enigmatic and comedic delight.
Join Delmar, Iris, and Aunt Mable as they conjure up mayhem and havoc on the Eureka and turn the place upside down! Not before they feed you a ghoulish three-course dinner! Costumes are encouraged as the most impressive costume will take home a prize! There will also be a puzzling clue hunt to help the cause! Don’t be scared and don’t be a dummy because there may be a fright lurking behind every door!
