Announcement is made of the engagement and upcoming marriage of Stephanie Bree Hill of Elizabethton and Austin Joseph Skerlak of Concord, N.C. The couple recently moved to Starkville, Miss.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Harold Hill and Regina Lea Hill. She is the granddaughter of the late J.E. Shipley, the late Lila Lea Shipley, the late Efford Hill, and Alma Byrd.

Stephanie graduated from East Tennessee State University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Most recently, she graduated with her master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She is currently employed at Mississippi State University.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Skerlak. He is the grandson of Reverend Merrill Perkins and the late Virginia Perkins.

Austin attended East Tennessee State University, where he studied Surveying and Mapping. He is currently employed by JMC Professional Surveying and Mapping.

The couple will be married on Saturday, November 9, 2019, at 4 p.m. at The Views at Sunset Ridge in Cleveland, Tenn. A reception will follow the ceremony.
