Youth League wrapping up… Playoffs start Saturday as Watauga Jr. Athletic League season coming to a close

This past Saturday was the last regular-season contest for the Watauga Jr. Athletic League and the only games left are the playoffs. It has been another great season for many local youth throughout the Tri-Cities who have enjoyed play on the gridiron.
There were games played at Citizens Bank Stadium on Saturday featuring the Cyclone Black topping off a great season with a win to finish with an 8-0 record in Jr. Pee Wee play while the Cyclone Grasscutters and Cyclone Orange Jr. Pee Wee teams also squaring off with opponents.
Star Sports is working to get the times and teams for the playoffs which will be Saturday at Citizens Bank Stadium also. All photos by Ivan Sanders.
