Larry Jerome Lane, 76, Johnson City, passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2019, in the Johnson City Medical Center. A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late Clayton & Pearl Miller Lane. He was a retired Plumber. He attended Little Mountain Baptist Church. He loved talking with his friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years Judy Ann McKeehan Lane, who passed away August 10, 2017, and by a sister: Lois Stout.

Survivors include his son: Chad Lane and wife Courteney. A Sister: Doris Jenkins. A Brother: Rev. Paul E. Lane. Four half-brothers and a half-sister. Also a special niece: Sandra Heath & Husband Kenny.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 12 noon Saturday, October 26, 2019, in Memorial Funeral Chapel with Dr.Larry Montgomery and his brother Rev. Paul Lane officiating.  Interment will follow in Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active Pallbearers will be: Steve Franklin, Ricky Woodby, Jr., Greg Gouge, Lester Brumit, Travis Brumit and Ricky Woodby. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Ray Loveless, Herman Stout, Gary Rice and Bobby Stout. The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to the staff of the 2500 wing, Johnson City Medical Center and the Care Givers at NHC.
