Lightwire Theater returns to NPA for ‘A Very Electric Christmas’

The Niswonger Performing Arts Center announces the return engagement of Lightwire Theater’s A Very Electric Christmas Sunday, Nov. 17, at 3 p.m. Tickets are on sale now at the NPAC box office, online and by phone.
Since bursting to national acclaim after appearing as semi-finalists on America’s Got Talent and winning the top honors on TRU TV’s Fake Off, Lightwire Theater has gone on to enthrall audiences worldwide with their unique combination of skill and grace as told through the technological innovations of moving light characters. The dazzling visuals and unique menagerie of characters that magically appear out of the darkness will captivate people of all ages.
Combining the arts of puppetry, theater and dance with the music of timeless holiday hits, this magical and captivating tale of family, friendship and hope creates a truly one-of-a-kind, inspired and exhilarating holiday experience that will be a treasured memory for years to come.
Follow the story of a young bird named Max and his family as they begin their journey south for the winter. When Max gets blown off course and ends up at the North Pole, his adventure begins! Dancing toy soldiers, caroling worms and performing poinsettias light up the stage.
Tickets are $20 for orchestra level seating, $15 for mezzanine seating and $10 for balcony seats. Tickets are on sale now for all performances for the entire 2019-2020 season and may be purchased online at NPACgreeneville.com, in person at the NPAC box office, or by calling 423-638-1679.
NPAC offers online seat selection with no processing or delivery fees. There is an additional $2 ticketing fee per ticket regardless of purchase method. The box office hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.
The 1m150-seat performing arts center is located adjacent to the campus of Greeneville High School.
