BILOXI, Miss. (AP) — Allegiant Airlines says it will soon begin offering non-stop flights to Nashville from the Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport.

Beginning Feb. 15, Allegiant will offer the flights twice a week — on Wednesdays and Saturdays to Nashville.

WLOX-TV reports to celebrate the new route, Allegiant also announced a limited time offer of one-way fares as low as $55. Those flights must be purchased by Nov. 13, for travel by Aug. 15, 2020. More details are available on www.Allegiant.com or www.flygpt.com .

U.S. Sen. Roger Wicker says the new service will also be an opportunity to introduce vacationers to the leisure activities available on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. He says Allegiant, with the investment, is helping the state increase opportunities for tourism.
