New Liberty
New Liberty Freewill Baptist Church will have a baptism Sunday during the morning worship service beginning at 11 a.m.
Individuals to be baptized are Reagan and Brayden Ashley, Gavin Seigfried and Chelsea Slagle.
Pastor Rev. Nick Colbaugh invites everyone to attend both of these special services.
The church is located on 113 Peters Hollow Road near the Stoney Creek Volunteer Fire Department.
Concert for ARM
The East Tennessee State University Mandolin Orchestra in partnership with Assistance Resource Ministries will present a concert Tuesday, Nov. 19, at 7 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, Elizabethton.
The concert is a benefit for Assistance Resource Ministries which is a food and clothes pantry in Elizabethton. ARM serves approximately 600 families per month providing a grocery cart full of nutritious food as well as clothing and household goods.
Proceeds from the concert will help provide meals for clients of ARM. The public is invited to join the community for a wonderful evening of fun, great music, and an opportunity to help those in need.
Admission is free, but a love offering will be collected for ARM.

CCCMF meeting
The Carter County Christian Men’s Fellowship will meet Tuesday, Nov. 19, at 7 p.m. at New Hope Church of Christ, 4517 Bristol Highway, Johnson City.
Mr. Ken Overdorf will be preaching with a great worship service planned by Don Brandon.
All men and boys are welcome to attend.
The host church minister is Paul Peer.
Zion Baptist
Zion Baptist Church, 1982 Gap Creek Road, will host multi-award winning Southern Gospel Artist Karen Peck and New River on Sunday, Nov. 17, at 6 p.m.
Admission is free and doors will open at 5 p.m. It is highly encouraged to arrive early.

Oak Grove Baptist
The Hoppers will sing in concert this evening at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Mt. Carmel at 7:15 p.m.
They will be joined by Sacred Harmony and comedian Mickey Bell.
Doors will open at 6 p.m.
Tickets will be available at the door.
Hopwood Christian
Hopwood Christian Church will have its annual Holiday Bazaar: Christmas Market and Brisket Dinner Saturday. The crafts and baked goods sale will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and the barbecue dinner from 6 to 7 p.m. Hopwood Christian is located at the entrance to Milligan College.
First United Methodist
Communion will be observed Sunday at morning worship at First United Methodist Church, Elizabethton. The service will begin at 9:55 a.m. and the message is entitled “The Table Beneath the Banner of Love.” Sermon text is Luke 22: 14-20. Sunday School begins at 11:20 a.m. The 4:12 Junior High Student Ministries will meet Sunday from 4:12 to 5:25 p.m. and the Senior High ministries will meet from 5:30 to 7:15 p.m. The Coolagers will meet Wednesday at 6 p.m. Wednesday Night Life Lessons will be taught at 6 p.m. in the church fellowship Hal. Southern Harmony will present special singing Sunday at 6 p.m. at Fork Mountain Free Will Baptist Church, Roan Mountain. The pastor, the Rev. Charlie Trivette, invites the public to attend.
First Presbyterian
The Rev. Brian C. Wyatt, pastor, will preach Sunday at the 11 a.m. worship service at First Presbyterian Church, Elizabethton. His sermon topic is “Temporary Enemies” and is based on Luke 10: 25-37 and John 15:12-23.
