Over 16 girls teams from different classifications came together Saturday at Heritage High School in Maryville to get in some court time as teams are ramping up preparations for action that kicks off this week in Hall of Fame games slated throughout the area.
Two of those teams that made the trip to get in some competitive time against other schools were the Unaka Lady Rangers and the Cloudland Lady Highlanders.
The Lady Rangers squared off in two contests during the play day taking on host Heritage as well as the Lady Tigers of Meigs County.
Meanwhile, Cloudland was paired up with Seymour and another local school in the Daniel Boone Lady Trailblazers.
The event was not so much about who won or lost but more so for the ladies to actually get in some competitive time on the hardwood.
Some of the other teams competing included Oliver Springs, Gatlinburg, Halls, Sullivan Central, Kingston, and Harriman.
