Jr. Cyclones draw split with East Middle

The T.A. Dugger Jr. Cyclones squared off with East Middle on Thursday evening with a mixed bag of results.
In the opening contest, the East junior varsity started the night off with a nine-point victory over the Jr. Cyclones, 33-24.
Andrew Barnett paced TAD in the game as he would score seven points and complemented that with three assists and three steals.
Jaiden Wallen also had a solid performance scoring six points and sweeping the glass for five rebounds.
Brayden Buckles and Kayden Gouge buried a trey apiece to finish with three points.
Mason Bowling and Jackson Buckles collected a field goal each with Buckles also pulling down five rebounds.
Colton Killian hit 1-of-2 free throws to close out the scoring for the Jr. Cyclones.
Kyrod Smalls didn’t score but he did reel in three rebounds for Coach B.J. Miller’s squad.

In the night’s finale, the Jr. Cyclones walked away with a win by doubling up East Middle, 46-23.
TAD received balanced scoring in the contest led by Eli Blevins who gunned in 10 points in the contest.
