JOHNSON CITY – If there was anything positive that came from four games with Liberty Bell on Wednesday night in middle school play, it was the effort given by the TA Dugger JV girls team who managed to salvage one of four games played on the night for TAD.
Andre Flores was a big presence for the Jr. Lady Cyclones as she led the Lady ‘Clones to a 35-16 win with a game-high 15 points. After scoring six in the first half, Flores knocked down nine more in the final half of play.
Peyton McGee and Aubrey Cole played large roles in the victory as well swishing the cotton to the tune of eight points apiece.
Lillie McDuffie collected the final four points of the contest for TAD.

In varsity action, the Jr. Lady Cyclones were about as frigid as someone naked in a driving snowstorm as TAD could manage only 14 total points in the contest as the Patriots ran off with a 25-point win.
There weren’t too many highlights for Coach Matt Fox’s team as Marlee Mathena knocked down six points to lead the Jr. Lady Cyclones. Mollie Johnson and Abbie Crigger totaled three points apiece and Rhi Williams collected the final two points to balance the TAD scorebook.
