Living Love

“Love is patient, love is kind/it is not rude, it is not self seeking.”

1 Corinthians 13 gives a description of what love is. These Bible verses hold meaning to me. Phillip Frickel is my father and a living description of what love looks like. Throughout my life I have seen what these verses mean. Phillip is married to an amazing woman and has four children. He constantly shows what love is supposed to look like to me, my siblings and my mother. He loves to care for and help people. The job he loved was being a police chaplain. A police chaplain is someone who helps and talks to the victims or victims’ families. Phillip has given up a lot to support his family. We have been through a lot this past year or two, but my father has always been there and helped and supported our family. He tries to do anything to make sure that we are OK and happy. My father is more than I could ask for or that I deserve.
