Lady ‘Landers smother Stratford, 57-16

In the second girls’ matchup in the Sgt. York’s Southeastern Invitational held in Jamestown, TN the Cloudland Highlanders faced the Lady Spartans from Stratford.
In the first quarter, Cloudland was able to make a 22-point run paced by Jazmine Birchfield with seven points leaving the score 22-1.
Stratford was able to put up eight points in the second quarter, but it couldn’t cut a dent in the lead with the score being 32-9 ending the first half.
It was all Cloudland in the second half breezing past Stratford. Leading scorer from Cloudland and receiving Player of the Game was Mandy Benfield with 14 points.
