Alice Bradshaw Nave

Alice Bradshaw Nave, 73, Elizabethton, went home to be with her Lord, Friday, January 24, 2020, at Ivy Hall Nursing Home after a brief illness.
A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence and Florence Guess Bradshaw.
Alice loved spending time w
ith family, cooking and being outdoors. She was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church of Elizabethton and the Volunteer Sunday School Class.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Henrietta Campbell, R.C. Bradshaw and Toni Carrico.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Floyd Nave; her sons, Kenneth Nave and wife Stephanie and Craig Nave and wife Starr; grandchildren, Matthew Nave and wife Whitney, Conner Nave, Hayden Nave and Mahala Nave; her great-grandchild, Adelaide Nave; and her brother, Steve Bradshaw.
The graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 29, in the Mountain Home National Cemetery (New Section), 215 Heroes Drive, Mountain Home, Tenn., with Pastor Nathan Jennings officiating. Pallbearers will be selected from family, friends and members of First Freewill Baptist Church. The family would like to send a special “Thank You” to Dr. Chakraborty and staff, JCMC and staff, especially Patrick Flynn, and Ivy Hall Nursing Home and staff, especially Victor and Judy Deloach and Amanda Holmes. In lieu of flowers, make donations to the Volunteer Sunday School, First Freewill Baptist Church, 706 First Street, Elizabethton, TN 37643 to go toward preparation of meals to be delivered to shut-ins. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery at 9:50 a.m. Wednesday. Friends may also visit with the family at her residence.
