Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Cooper of Athens will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Thursday, January 30, 2020.

They were married on January 30, 1970.

Mrs. Cooper is the former Dorothy DeLoach.

They are the parents of two sons and daughters-in-law, Stacey and Melissa and Russ and Beverly.

Mrs. Cooper is retired from the McMinn County Courthouse. Mr. Cooper is a Vietnam veteran, retired from Manville Corporation.

The couple will celebrate their golden anniversary with family.
