James Ray Williams

James Ray Williams, 45, Elizabethton, Tenn., passed away unexpectedly at his home Wednesday, January 29, 2020. He was the son of Virginia Stover and the late Dana Ray Williams, and his step-dad, the late Timothy Stover, who passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2020. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Roy H. and Carrie M. Williams and James and Burnace Peters.
James was a 1992 graduate of Unaka High School.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Joni and Russell Day, and his niece and nephew, who he loved as his own, Jacob and Kimberly Day, who love him even more. Also, his step-siblings, Nikki Thomas and Kevin and Kelvin Stover, and a special uncle who was like a father to him, Larry Williams. He also leaves behind several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who loved him dearly.
James was employed at Little Caesar’s for many years and helped with LCW Championship wrestling, which was his passion and where he was known as Commissioner James Ray.
