Ginger Ford, 70, of Elizabethton, Tenn., passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2020, at her residence. Ginger was born in Elizabethton to the late Paul and Anna Mae Cannon Baird. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Paul Allen Baird Jr.
Ginger was employed at IES in Gray, Tenn., as a Tech Operator. She enjoyed camping, sewing and bird watching.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Jerry Ford Sr., of the home; her son, Jerry Ford Jr. of Elizabethton; two daughters, Tammie Ford Kiser (Roger) of Watauga and Tina Ford of Elizabethton; two grandchildren, Shenna Ford and Victoria Ford Campbell; one great-grandson, Atlee Campbell; one brother, Dennis Baird of Johnson City; and two sisters, Brenda Grindstaff and Donna Baird, both of Elizabethton. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
A graveside service to celebrate the life of Ginger Ford will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday, February 6, at Happy Valley Memorial Park with Mrs. Gloria Fenner officiating. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Those wishing to attend the service are asked to meet at 2:15 p.m. at Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton, to go in procession. The family will receive friends at Tetrick Funeral Home from 1 until 2 p.m. Thursday, prior to the graveside service, or at the residence at other times.
