Tim McCoy Oliver

Tim McCoy Oliver, 84, Elizabethton, passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2020, at Life Care Center of Elizabethton where he had lived for the past 14 years due to a stroke.
A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late Luther and Mamie Buckles Oliver.
Tim was a mechanic and farmer. He was a member of Caldwell Springs Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Melissa Lusk, in 2018; a great-great-grandson, Jacob Stout; three brothers, Bob Oliver, Wm. Paul Oliver and Clarence Oliver; and two sisters, Mary Lou Phillips and Opal Lewis.
Left to cherish his memories include his loving daughter, Teresa Fragale and husband Dan; his grandchildren, Justin Fragale, Misty and Ashley Lusk; seven great-grandchildren; his brothers, Dewey Oliver and wife Glenda and Luther Jr. Oliver and wife Nancy; his sisters, Shirley Ann Harris and Carolyn Bolling; several nieces and nephews; and his special friends, Kathy Byrd and Amanda Guy.
The graveside service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Monday, February 10, in the Caldwell Springs Cemetery with Pastor Paul Seefelt officiating. Interment will follow the service. Active pallbearers will be Mike Nidiffer, Gregg Nidiffer, Gerald Buckles, Dean Robinson, Lloyd Myers and Lawrence Pierce. The family would like to express a special “Thanks” to all the staff at Life Care Center for making Tim feel special for 14 years.
