Wadstle “Wade” Hill

Wadstle “Wade” Hill, 72, Elizabethton, passed away Monday, February 10, 2020, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital.
A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late Robert and Irene Arnett Hill.
Wade was a graduate of Hampton High School and was retired from Star Building Systems as an overhead crane operator. He was a member of Southside Free Will Baptist Church but attended Roan Street Free Will Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Kathy Hartley.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Gail Watson Hill; three sons, Evangelist Scott Hill and wife Angie, Jeremy Hill and Joseph Wade Hill; five grandchildren, Heather Nicole Hill, Mike Hill Jr., Dakota Joseph Hill, Mason Alexander Hill and Elijah Joseph Hill; two brothers, Vincent Hill and Richard Lee Hill; one sister, Debra Sams and husband Bob; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday, February 13, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Tim Gouge officiating. Interment will follow in the Johnson Roan View Cemetery, Roan Mountain. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff of the ICU at Sycamore Shoals Hospital for their service and support. The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
