COVID-19 cases continue to rise in Tennessee

The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Tennessee is now 13,624 as of May 5. There are now 6,356 recovered patients.
The number of deaths is now being listed as 226, with 1,156 hospitalizations.
A total of 218,796 tests have been conducted in the state as of now.
For Carter County, there have now been 16 confirmed cases. 12 cases are recovered, and one has died.
During this time, it is highly recommended that you continue practicing proper hygiene, including hand washing for a minimum of 20 seconds, and follow social distancing guidelines.
