Stoney Creek man arrested for photographing minor nude

Deputies of the Carter County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man Tuesday after investigators were made aware of explicit videos of a minor in his possession.
Rocky Alan Crowe, 57, is charged with three counts of unlawful photographing in violation of privacy and five counts of aggravated unlawful photographing of a minor. A witness discovered a thumb drive containing multiple videos of a minor in a bathroom and gave the drive to investigators.
Investigators obtained search warrants and confirmed that the videos were on the thumb drive. They appeared to have been recorded with a covert device without the juvenile victim’s knowledge. Deputies then went to Crowe’s residence and took him into custody.
Crowe is being held in the Carter County Detention Center on a $10,000 bond.
