Nettie Evelyn White Andes, 73, Elizabethton, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, June 15, 2020, at Johnson City Medical Center.
A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Chalmer and Hazel Garland White.
Nettie was a graduate of Unaka High School. She was retired from Harris Manufacturing Company.
Nettie enjoyed playing cards with her sisters and always loved to sing with the family and in the choir. She was a member of New Liberty Free Will Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Lou Davenport, and two brothers, Dallas and Tony White.
Survivors include her sons, Kenneth Andes and Christopher (Melissa) Andes; three grandchildren, Kenneth Tyler Andes, Whitney C. (Jordon) Kuykendall and Wesley Andes; her siblings, Belva White, Joanne (Delbert) Reese, Richard (Carolyn) White, Roger White and Thelma (James) Nutter; several nieces and nephews; and the father of her children, Kenneth “Butch” Andes.
The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 27, in the Blevins Cemetery with the Rev. Nick Colbaugh officiating. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery at 10:50 a.m. Saturday. Condolences may be sent to the family at our website at www.memorialfcelizabethton.com.
