While July 4thCelebrations look different this year, the Elizabethton Parks and Recreation has decided to take one of their favorite Independence Day contests, virtual! The Patriotic Pet Pageant has been a highlight of our July 4thfestivities for the last few years and the staff are excited to continue the tradition.
Elizabethton Parks and Recreation are asking participants to dress their pet in their best patriotic attire and send a photo on their Facebook page, or in Facebook Messenger. The contest will run from Friday, June 26, through Friday, July 3, at 11:59 p.m. The panel of judges will award first, second and third place winners on Monday, July 6.
