Janet Irene Lee, 74, peacefully entered eternal rest on June 17, 2020, in Elizabethton, following an extended illness.
She was born in Elizabethton and later moved to Michigan, where she graduated from the University of Michigan with degrees in education. She worked at the Ford Motor Company Headquarters.
Janet is reunited with her loving parents, Evelyn Lee (Simerly, of Valley Forge) and Van Lee, who preceded her.
She is survived by her aunt Lena Joh, uncle Robert Lee, cousins Linda Yee-Oyafuso, Kathy Chutorash, Larry Joh, Laura Joh-Rowland, William Lee, Frank Lee Jr., Gwendolyn Lee, Lisa Lee, Steve Simerly, Tim Williams, Reba Wurster, John Wurster and several friends.
A graveside remembrance ceremony at the Simerly Family Cemetery will be scheduled for a future date.
