ROAN MOUNTAIN — On Friday,July 31, Vedette Rice, BCHET President, filled in for VP Bill Watson in accepting a generous contribution from Northeast Community Credit Union forBCHET: Ouptost-3. Watson worked hard to solicit the Roan Mountain community he calls home.
The donation presented by Amanda Blair, Branch Manager at the Roan Mountain Office, will greatly assist completion of the multipurpose parking lot at the junction of Walnut Mountain Road and Cherry Flats Road. This is one of several projects between the National Forest Service, Watauga Ranger District & BCHET.BCHET thanks NCCU for their continued support while they work to meet funding goals!
